HEART OF AFRICA – Tsavo East • Amboseli • Tsavo West • (6 Days)
Tsavo East National Park, KenyaAbout this experience
This classic circuit links Kenya’s wild heart—Tsavo—with the iconic elephant landscapes of Amboseli, delivering big skies, red-earth savannah, volcanic hills and—when clouds lift—Mount Kilimanjaro on the horizon. Expect elephants, big cats, abundant plains game and birdlife, plus famous water sources like Aruba Dam and Mzima Springs.
Why this route works
- Amboseli’s signature scene: elephants against Kilimanjaro—one of Africa’s most photographed vistas.
- Tsavo East: vast open plains, Galana/Voi river systems and prolific wildlife around Aruba Dam.
- Tsavo West: dramatic volcanic terrain and the crystal-clear pools of Mzima Springs (hippos & crocodiles).
- Private reserve feel: Lualenyi Conservancy borders Tsavo West with fewer vehicles and wilder game drives.

Lodges (planned)
- Sentrim Tsavo East (Tsavo East) — near Voi Gate; tented lodge in the park.
- Amboseli Discovery Camp (Amboseli) — Hemingway-style tents between the park and Kilimanjaro.
- Lualenyi (Tsavo West ecosystem) — private conservancy with low vehicle density.
- Ashnil Aruba Lodge (Tsavo East) — on the banks of Aruba Dam, superb for game viewing.
Good to know
Aruba Dam concentrates wildlife, especially in drier months.
Kilimanjaro views depend on clouds—best at dawn/late afternoon in clear conditions.
