About this experience

Start in Nairobi and trace a classic arc through three iconic parks. Amboseli greets you with vast wetlands and elephant herds set against the snow-capped crown of Mount Kilimanjaro. Tsavo West adds volcanic hills and the crystal-clear pools of Mzima Springs, while Tsavo East opens into red-earth savannah where dust-tinted elephants roam wide, open plains.

Itinerary at a glance

Day 1 — Nairobi → Amboseli
Morning road transfer. Check in at Amboseli Discovery Camp, lunch and downtime.
Afternoon game drive at sunset. Dinner & overnight at camp.
Day 2 — Amboseli (full day)
Sunrise and late-afternoon game drives (or one extended drive) across swamps and grasslands with Kilimanjaro views when skies are clear.
Day 3 — Amboseli → Tsavo West
Breakfast, short game drive en route. Arrive at Severin Safari Camp for lunch.
Afternoon safari to Mzima Springs (hippos, crocs, and glass-clear spring water). Dinner & overnight.
Day 4 — Tsavo West → Tsavo East
Morning game drive, then continue to Sentrim Tsavo East for lunch. Afternoon safari across the vast red plains. Dinner & overnight.
Day 5 — Tsavo East → Coast / Watamu
Final sunrise game drive while exiting the park. Optional lunch stop at Camp Gedeng near the river, then afternoon arrival back at Vinrosa House.

Good to know

Kilimanjaro is most often visible at dawn and late afternoon on clear days.
Mzima Springs offers boardwalk viewpoints over spring-fed pools with hippos and crocodiles.
Tsavo East’s vastness means sightings are rewarding but can involve longer game-drive ranges.

The host will provide:: 4x4 Jeep for all safari days, equipped with radio, first aid kit, and sanitizer; Expert local driver; Certified KPSGA FGASA Italian professional guide (when available); Full board, drinks excluded, during the safari; Entrance to Parks and Reserves; Water, snacks, tea, and coffee on board for the entire duration of the safari; Sunset aperitif when possible; 2 daily game drives; Extra lunch on the return day; Taxes
