In the surrounding area, you’ll find numerous local and international restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood, pizza’s, barbeques and beachfront bars, beach club and local markets.
Adventure continues beyond the sea: just a few kilometers away lies the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, home to rare species such as the tiny forest elephant and unique endemic birds. For those who dream of a safari, the great parks of Kenya – Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli – are within easy reach, offering unforgettable encounters with lions, giraffes, and elephants.

The local currency is the Kenyan Shilling, but you can bring your own currency and easily exchange it. The official language is Swahili, though English is widely spoken, and many people also understand Italian.
