Vinrosa House

B&B in the ❤️ of Watamu – Kenya

About us

We’re a little home away from home—an intimate place where time slows down and every detail is shaped for comfort. You’ll find quiet corners for privacy and cozy spaces filled with peace and warmth.

Our team is here to make your stay effortless. From arranging airport transfers to planning unforgettable experiences around Watamu.

Whether you’d like to explore the marine park, discover hidden beaches, enjoy a guided village tour, or simply relax with a private massage at the house, we take care of every detail.

Why Vinrosa House?

Our vision is simple: to offer a peaceful, down-to-earth escape where you can truly unwind. Vinrosa House is a small, family-run B&B built on warmth, sincerity, and the belief that a relaxing holiday doesn’t need the noise or formality of large hotels.

Here, you’ll find quiet spaces, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that feels more like a home than a resort — a place created for guests who value calm, authenticity, and a slower pace of life.

Around Watamu

Vinrosa House is nestled in a traditional fishing village, just a few minutes from the beach and the center of Watamu 🇰🇪

Located about 1 km from the area’s most beautiful beaches and the Watamu Mall, it offers the perfect balance of tranquility, local authenticity, and convenience.

In the surrounding area, you’ll find numerous local and international restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood, pizza’s, barbeques and beachfront bars, beach club and local markets.

Your unique experience

Adventure continues beyond the sea: just a few kilometers away lies the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, home to rare species such as the tiny forest elephant and unique endemic birds. For those who dream of a safari, the great parks of Kenya – Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli – are within easy reach, offering unforgettable encounters with lions, giraffes, and elephants.

Watamu is much more than a beach destination: it is a place where you can enjoy the relaxation of tropical shores, the thrill of water sports, the magic of African safaris, and the authentic charm of a warm and welcoming culture.

The local currency is the Kenyan Shilling, but you can bring your own currency and easily exchange it. The official language is Swahili, though English is widely spoken, and many people also understand Italian. Life here follows a different pace compared to Europe – simpler, slower, and more connected to nature.
